ONLINE INTERACTIONS - DAILY DIFFERENT
At OpinioNet, a Open talk refers to an online format of casual, everyday meetings.
The goal is to maintain regular contact and engagement among subscribers who share a common interest or characteristic.
Subscribers can participate in all topics without limitation.
An overview of available topics is provided here: https://www.opinion-net.com/topics/
There is no limit to the number of participants in a Open talk.
You can participate in an unlimited number of Open talks throughout the month.
You are welcome to register and take part, but we recommend at least a basic understanding of the language to ensure active participation.
The main languages of communication are listed on the page of each topic or event. In some cases, it is also possible to join as an observer.
Some key parts of the content may be translated or summarised during or after the session, depending on the format and availability.
Categories and topics are created within the framework of the 10 defined areas of work of OpinioNet. Jour-fixe and Open talks have 16 predefined topics. Subscribers’ suggestions will be collected for updating and expanding!

Yes. For a topic proposal to be accepted and processed, the proponent must provide arguments for the need to cover the relevant topic and state the purpose of the proposal. The Organizer will not assume the obligation to realize all topic proposals.
Yes, absolutely! Subscribers can ask questions via the dedicated question page, or during online and in-person events – provided that the organisational, technical and cultural conditions of the event allow it.
OpinioNet is not a forum and does not create a public database of individual questions and answers. Instead, we focus on thematic grouping and addressing of questions during scheduled sessions (e.g. Jour-Fixe, Get-Together, and other formats).
We cannot guarantee a response to every individual question, but we make an effort to address questions that are frequently asked or particularly relevant to the wider community.
A Jour-Fixe is a structured, recurring monthly meeting focused on a specific topic or shared interest, with regular participants.
A Open talk is a more informal and spontaneous event open to all subscribers, often used to exchange impressions, meet new people, or share feedback across different groups.
Questions submitted anonymously via a “Havatar” (to protect your privacy) may be answered immediately during the event if asked live in the online session.
Questions submitted in writing will be addressed on Wednesdays during the “Your Voice Matters!” and “You Won’t Get Lost in the Crowd!” events.
We do not respond to all questions at the same pace, and we kindly ask for your understanding.
Your suggestions to improve this important feature of the OpinioNet platform are very welcome!
The term Jour-Fixe refers to a regular monthly meeting of a group of people, held on a set day.
At OpinioNet, the Jour-Fixe is designed to maintain regular contact and communication among subscribers who share a common interest or characteristic.
When registering, future subscribers choose one Jour-Fixe topic.
The selection of a starting topic is made easier on this page: https://www.opinion-net.com/topics/
After 6 months, it is possible to switch to new topics, locations, or interest groups.
Jour-Fixe have a limited number of participants. The minimum number required for dynamic communication is 6. The maximal number of participants is 12.
You can take part in one Jour-Fixe per month, always within the same chosen topic.
There is a possibility to expand beyond the scope of your subscription.

Absolutely. These events are designed to allow us to engage a wide range of experts from various professions and countries. Please pay attention to the language and possible translations indicated in the announcements, as well as the need for prior registration!
The “Ask the Expert” events take place daily, according to the published topic schedule.
Email registration and payment for all selected sessions are required.
You need to choose:
• The topics you are interested in for the current month
• The experts you would like to hear and ask questions (see the announcements in the schedule!)
After registration, you will receive a list of available time slots and a payment request.
Due to the diversity of the experts involved, we cannot publish a single fixed price in advance. Different fees may apply to different sessions.
Formulating a good question is a skill we encourage. Our moderators and guidance will help you express your ideas clearly and constructively.
Experts join from different countries, and sessions are held in several languages depending on the topic and audience. Details are listed in the event calendar.
Due to high interest, not all questions may be answered live. We appreciate your patience – our experts and moderators revisit unanswered topics in future sessions.
All dates, times, and access links are available on our official event page:

Counseling involves professional, continuous, supportive, and process-oriented assistance. During counseling, our counselors help define the problem, explain the next steps, and guide you toward solutions, with an emphasis on a personal approach and development.
Consulting is a professional, often shorter and more formal session with external experts. During consulting, you receive concrete, expert-based opinions, recommendations, or analyses related to specific topics or situations, without a prolonged support process.
OpinioNet counselors are members of our platform who provide advisory and supportive services within the OpinioNet system. Their role is to guide you through the process, provide direction, and offer clear explanations to help you better understand the situation and make your own decisions.
External consultants are experts outside the OpinioNet platform whom you can engage for specific consulting sessions that require detailed expert opinions or special expertise. These consultations are usually one-time and focused on concrete topics.
Access to the platform requires a subscription, which may be free or subject to an annual fee, depending on the level of access. Some content and services are included in the subscription, while others require additional payment – either as one-time fees, monthly charges, or direct payments to external experts or institutions.
Payment for additional services, such as advisory sessions, is handled through the OpinioNet system, following prior notice and confirmation by email. Consultations with external experts or partner institutions are arranged independently and are subject to their own pricing and terms. OpinioNet does not participate in these transactions nor does it determine their conditions.

Havatar is a term coined by combining the words health and avatar (a graphical representation of a user that conceals their true identity, commonly used in the digital world).
In developing OpinioNet, we have paid special attention to the protection of personal information and the identities of our subscribers.
A Havatar is an email address with the @opinionet domain, generated once and uniquely for each user. It is ordered and used as desired.
This innovative identity protection method allows subscribers to participate in communication fully anonymously, should they choose that option.
Users reveal their real identity only if they choose to.
The Havatar system protects privacy and supports safe and open communication.
Our webpages are hosted on servers in Linz (World4You). Since 2013, when we began our online activities in Austria, we have had no incidents related to data protection.
All our webpages use licensed software and protection programs that are updated daily.
All users are subject to our [Data Protection Policy].
The Havatar protects the identity of OpinioNet users. A personal Havatar is assigned to an individual subscriber for anonymous participation in communication and activities. The user decides if and when to reveal their identity.
The Corporate Havatar is used by the holder of a privileged subscription – a company, clinic, or municipality/city – to provide access to its employees, patients, or residents.
Data of employees (patients, residents) and their families are protected through a unique communication interface.
The employer (clinic or municipality/city) does not see details of the individual’s health situation or needs – all they know is that their employee (patient or resident) uses the service under the agreed subscription.
Each individual (company employee, patient of a clinic, or resident of a municipality or city) may, but is not obliged to, create their own personal Havatar.
