SUMMARY:Lounge second opinion
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1710053130516{padding-top: 25px !important;}”][vc_column]\n \n \n \n\n	\n\n \n \n MEETING OF PERSPECTIVE AND EXPERIENCE\n \n \n The Lounge Perspective meets practice connects young talents with experienced seniors. Young participants bring new questions\, energy\, and a fresh perspective on the topics shaping modern life. Seniors bring experience\, an understanding of life circumstances\, and the ability to see the bigger picture. \nIn this encounter\, a space emerges for conversations that are not only an exchange of opinions but also an opportunity to turn different perspectives into a shared reflection on practical solutions related to health\, housing\, mobility\, and ways of living.\n\n \n \n \n \n\n	\n\n \n \n EXAMPLES OF INTERGENERATIONAL COLLABORATION\n \n \n In many innovation and social projects\, younger and older generations are intentionally brought together because such cooperation often leads to new ideas and more realistic solutions. \nExamples include: \nReverse mentoring in international companies \nIn companies such as General Electric\, PwC\, IBM\, and Unilever\, younger employees mentor senior colleagues in areas such as digital technologies and emerging social trends\, while seniors share their experience in decision-making and understanding long-term consequences. \nIntergenerational innovation labs \nAt universities and in startup programs\, different generations of participants are increasingly brought together deliberately to combine the creativity of younger people with the experience of older participants. Such teams often arrive at more practical and sustainable solutions. \nActive ageing programs in Europe \nInitiatives such as Generations Working Together in the United Kingdom or intergenerational housing projects in the Netherlands connect younger and older people through joint activities\, reducing social isolation and encouraging the exchange of experience. \nHealth and social projects \nIn many health-related projects\, patients\, researchers\, and different generations work together to develop solutions that better reflect the real needs of people. \nThese examples show that bringing different generations together around concrete life topics often leads to deeper understanding and more practical solutions — exactly the kind of space that the Lounge Perspective meets practice aims to create.\n\n \n \n \n \n\n	\n\n \n \n FORMAT\n \n \n Meetings take place online\, and occasionally\, based on the interest of participants\, in-person meetings may also be organized.\n\n \n \n \n \n\n	\n\n \n \n LANGUAGE\n \n \n OpinioNet is designed to enable people from different countries and life situations to communicate. \nIn written communication used to express interest in participating in the Lounge\, support will be provided to those who are not comfortable with foreign languages\, and groups will be able to agree on one of three languages: English\, German\, or Croatian.\n\n [/vc_column][/vc_row]
